Feminine, modern and versatile – with the Know Me sewing pattern ME2040, you can sew an elegant slip dress in either midi or maxi length. The fitted bodice meets a flared A-line skirt, creating a beautiful, balanced silhouette.
The close-fitting bodice is beautifully shaped by a defined waist seam and back waist darts. The high-cut back provides an elegant contrast to the feminine strap design and gives the dress a clear, modern line.
A front slit along the princess seam adds a sophisticated accent and simultaneously ensures comfortable freedom of movement. A concealed zipper in the side seam allows for easy on and off, without interrupting the clean silhouette.
Variation B features criss-cross straps at the back, creating a particularly attractive eye-catcher.
Thanks to the wide selection of suitable fabrics, the pattern can be interpreted in many different ways: Linen blends, chambray, or poplin are excellent for summery day dresses, while satin or crêpe de Chine give the model an elegant look.
