Summer, feminine and wonderfully versatile – with the McCall's sewing pattern M8322 you can sew gathered women's dresses in short or ankle-length versions. Various bodice options allow you to create different looks for summer, holidays and leisure.
The dresses are made with a shaping mid-section and decorative pintucks. Gathers give the skirt extra width and create an airy, feminine silhouette that is particularly beautiful with light summer fabrics.
There are various options for designing the top. One version has a bodice with narrow shoulder straps and looks light and classic. Alternatively, you can sew a halterneck bodice that beautifully accentuates the shoulders and back.
